Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH Assistant Manager/Supervisor to join our vibrant restaurant team. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food service, hospitality, and team management. The successful candidate will oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the overall success of the restaurant. Previous experience in restaurant management, food industry standards, and hospitality environments is highly valued. A passion for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness will be essential to excel in this role.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Oversee food preparation and serving processes to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new team members
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Monitor restaurant operations to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Lead by example in hospitality excellence, including serving customers when needed
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Support kitchen staff with coordination between front and back of house operations
  • Manage team schedules, assign duties, and supervise performance to foster a positive work environment

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in restaurant management or hospitality settings
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and customer service excellence
  • Previous roles involving team management, interviewing, and training staff
  • Experience working in hotel or barista environments is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, safety, and sanitation
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
