Franco-Ontarians Day

Are you a Francophone or Francophile in Ontario? On September 25th, we celebrate YOU!

Every year, Franco-Ontarians celebrate with pride their rich Francophone culture. Officially recognized since 2010, this day symbolizes the unity of more than 1.5 million French-speaking people in the province.

Join us every year to mark this special day and highlight our contribution to the cultural and social vitality of Kingston and the Thousand Islands.

Come celebrate our Francophone heritage together!

This year marks the 50th anniversary of our Franco-Ontarian flag—a powerful symbol of our identity and pride.

Join us for a memorable celebration at Confederation Park, starting at 11 a.m.

On the program: inspiring speeches, the Franco parade, live music and entertainment. And to end the day in style, don’t miss the big evening concert with Mehdi Cayenne at Théâtre Le Sésame, Centre culturel Frontenac.
