Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our welding / metal fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Duties

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning work areas and equipment
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Support skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
