Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team and assist with servicing and installing a wide range of HVAC equipment. The role includes working on systems such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, geothermal units, and hot water tanks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both installation and service, as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This position requires a commitment to safety, professionalism, and delivering high-quality work in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install and replace HVAC systems (furnaces, A/Cs, heat pumps, boilers, geothermal, hot water tanks), ensuring compliance with TSSA codes, municipal building codes, and Energy Starprocedures.
- Service & Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspections and cleaning of components (coils, filters, refrigerants).
- Customer Education: Educate customers on proper care, maintenance, and energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
- Documentation: Complete service reports, logs, and records in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle for efficient service.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year recent HVAC installation experience
- Valid Gas Fitter G3 minimum
- Refrigeration License 313A or 313D preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
- Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
- An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be flexible to work weekends, evenings and on call
