Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification of various landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks that support the maintenance and enhancement of gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas.

Duties

• Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools for landscaping tasks.
• Operate a zero turn mower safely & efficiently
• Able to operate a string trimmer
• Dig, plant, and maintain garden beds, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
• Assist in the installation of hardscapes
• Be able to use a truck & trailer safely
• Perform regular landscape maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, and mulching.
• Build and repair landscape features such as fences, patios, and walkways as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition through routine checks and maintenance - report any issues to senior staff
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of power tools and landscaping equipment is an asset.
• Experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping tasks.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping techniques and equipment operation.
• Able to work in a team environment & independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 65 per week
