Part of the Kingston community since 2006, Ms. Brisson has been teaching at the adult education center, La Route du Savoir, since 2009. Holder of a bachelor’s degree in adult education, she is passionate about personal development and health & wellness. Her interest led her to complete a naturopathic practitioner diploma in 2019. She reads a lot and follows various training courses on these subjects. In addition, she is eager to learn about different topics such as metaphysics, neuroscience and mental health. Thanks to continuous training, she is developing new workshops to offer to La Route du Savoir’s clients

Originally from Quebec City, Chantale Blanchette has been a Mental Health First Aid instructor with the Mental Health Commission of Canada since 2015, a passion she shares every moment possible. She is the only francophone instructor for the Kingston region, and she is proud to share her enthusiasm with the Francophone community.
She holds a degree in Public Relations as well as a certificate in law and has discovered her passion for teaching throughout the years. She taught French as a second language for several years at variety of language schools in addition to developing and delivering workshops while she was an instructor for the young adult program offered by Service Canada.
Since she arrived in Kingston in September 2015, Chantale has been the project co-ordinator for the Réseau de soutien à l’immigration francophone de l’est de l’Ontario, a program financed by Immigration Refugee, and Citizen Canada.

Sherry is the owner of Broadmind, a company with a focus on strategies for mental health, in workplaces, communities and for individuals. She started her career as a Professional Engineer in the Canadian military then became a mental health professional with an MSc in Applied Psychology with a focus on mental health. She is a certified Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) advisor on the standard for Psychological Health and Safety (PH&S) and instructs Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) to adults and the veteran’s community across Canada.

She believes in supporting connections in workplaces and in her Kingston community.
