The Limestone District School Board (LDSB) is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe
and Haudenosaunee. We acknowledge their enduring presence on this land, as well as the presence of

The LDSB is the region’s only fully inclusive school board. Limestone schools serve more than 20,500
students in 55 schools and five alternative education centres covering a geographic area of 7,719 square
kilometres across the City of Kingston, the Townships of Central Frontenac, North Frontenac, South
Frontenac, Addington Highlands, Loyalist, Stone Mills, the Frontenac Islands and the Town of Greater
Napanee.
The Limestone District School Board is currently accepting applications for Elementary Contract
(Permanent) French Teachers. We are seeking qualified or soon to be qualified French as a Second
Language Teachers to join our team!

• A growth mindset with the ability to adapt to a continually evolving environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the Ontario Curriculum in a variety of subject areas for French
Immersion and delivering FSL curriculum for Core French
• French as a Second Language Qualification or willingness to obtain if successful in French Teacher
process
• Knowledge and understanding of a variety of assessment strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Resilience, optimism, and self-efficacy

• OCT registration link (please provide your number even if you are not yet in good standing).
• All summative Practicum Teacher Reports (from 2024-2025 Faculty of Education graduates).

Interviews
Interviews will take place Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
Candidates will participate in a group interview process and will be advised at time of contact whether
interviews will take place in-person or virtually. Shortlisted candidates will be requested to submit
written consent to contact three professional referees, including current and prior supervisors.
