The Path to Canadian Citizenship
Getting your citizenship in Canada is not an easy process, but you don’t have to go through it alone.
ACFOMI’s Welcoming & Settlement Centre offers two free workshops and free resources to support you in your journey towards citizenship. These services are designed to support immigrant newcomers in completing the various tasks necessary to obtain their citizenship.
Settling in a new country and city is not something you need to do on your own!

Human Rights in Canada
The human rights in Canada workshop is intended for anyone who would like to familiarize themselves with the rights of duties of Canadian citizens, whether you’re new to Canada, looking forward to your citizenship test, or simply curious about the rights and responsibilities of Canadians. This workshop will provide information about equality before the law, fundamental individual freedoms, and other areas of Canadian law and justice, in a format that is easy to digest. The workshop is followed by a free quiz to consolidate what you’ve learned.
