Referral Service and Employment Needs

The referral service aims to prepare newcomers to work in Canada through initiatives that improve their skills, assist job seekers in looking for a job, their resumé, cover letter, preparing for interviews etc. This services is provided by the advisors of ACFOMI Employment Services funded by Employment Ontario.

Bridging the Gap Between Employers and Newcomers
These information sessions aim to put immigrant newcomers and employers in contact in order to strategize on how to promote the professional integration of immigrant newcomers.
Intercultural Workshops
The intercultural workshops offer employers, employees and immigrants job seekers the opportunity to reflect on the skills and experiences that immigrants have acquired abroad. These workshops focus on the multicultural and cultural competencies to help understand work culture and values in a new country.

Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
