General Labourer/Restoration Technician - WINMAR® Property Restoration is expanding and looking for energetic and self-motivated new team members! This position is full time, and offers a competitive wage based on experience and expertise. General Responsibilities and Performance Expectations include:
- Attending property emergencies
- Stabilizing sites impacted by flooding, fires, wind and other disasters
- Assist with the removal of damaged materials in an organized fashion
- Safe handling of customers personal property
- Selective demolition as required
- Set-up and use of specialized equipment to ensure proper restoration
- Supporting skilled trades to return the property to its original condition
- Etc.
You must have:
- The ability to be an effective team player
- A clean drivers abstract
- No criminal record
- Access to transportation to and from work
Are you “The Right Person”? Knowledge in the property restoration industry is an asset however, we provide extensive training to achieve IICRC certification in a range of disciplines.
The candidate must be an outgoing, personable individual, who makes a good first impression with customers. The ability to follow instructions well and ensure tasks are being completed correctly and efficiently are essential in order to succeed in this role. Capability to work independently when required; while also accepting and following direction from management is key.
