Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sorter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the sorting process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling materials.
Responsibilities
- Sort and organize materials according to specified categories
- Operate heavy equipment for sorting purposes
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Utilize forklifts for material movement
- Assist in fabricating materials when necessary
- Operate loaders for material transportation
- Dig and clean work areas as needed
Experience
- Experience in sanitizing work environments is preferred
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely
- Prior experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Familiarity with material fabrication processes is beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.55 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Experience:
- Waste sorting: 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
