Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to work efficiently in various environments, including residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems function effectively and comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
  • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of large fixtures or equipment.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and components.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools necessary for plumbing tasks.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during installations or repairs.
  • Experience with welding techniques for joining pipes or fixtures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is beneficial for integrated project work.
  • Valid commercial driving license may be required for transporting materials to job sites.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
