Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel’s laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilites:
- Strip Vacant/check out rooms
- Sort linen
- Separate stained/discarded linens
- Wash & Fold linen
- Stock storage room shelves
- Keep a track of linen, Guest supply & Chemical inventory
- Make sure to organize the laundry area
- Make sure to keep the laundry area and the staff room area clean at all times
- Log down all discarded items
- Help with end of the month inventory
- Must be able to work with chemicals
- Other tasks assigned by management
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Experience:
- Hotel Housekeeping laundry: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- WHMIS Certification (required)
