Position Summary:
As the Community Host, you will be the face of Fractal Workspace, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests. You will be the first point of contact for anyone entering the space and play a key role in ensuring that members have an outstanding experience every day. This is a hospitality-driven role that requires a personable, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Experience & Reception:
- Be the first point of contact for members and guests, providing a friendly and professional welcome to all who enter the space.
- Greet, assist, and provide information to members, guests, and potential clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly, ensuring that all communications are handled with professionalism and accuracy.
Space Management:
- Ensure that the coworking space is always clean, tidy, and fully stocked with necessary items (e.g., office supplies, coffee, snacks).
- Execute daily opening and closing duties, following all procedures to ensure the space is ready for use each day.
- Maintain and execute the coffee, tea, and water station daily, ensuring it is stocked and presented neatly.
- Complete daily cleaning checklists, ensuring workstations, meeting rooms, common areas, and kitchens are presentable and functional at all times.
Event and Sales Support:
- Assist the Community Manager in executing internal and external events, including setup, breakdown, and member engagement during events.
- Support sales efforts by giving tours to potential members, assisting with follow-up, and preparing meeting rooms for prospective clients.
- Coordinate catering for meetings and events when required, ensuring timely delivery and setup to provide a seamless experience for guests.
Administrative and Operational Support:
- Manage basic administrative duties, such as updating member records, preparing invoices, and assisting with onboarding new members.
- Provide operational support by assisting the Community Manager with any tasks or initiatives as needed, including special projects and administrative duties.
- Ensure timely restocking of supplies and materials throughout the space, placing orders as needed to maintain a well-functioning environment.
- Handle mail and package management for virtual office members, ensuring accurate delivery and communication.
Hospitality and Community Engagement:
- Build relationships with members, learning their preferences and creating a personalized experience that fosters loyalty and satisfaction.
- Proactively engage with members to anticipate their needs and enhance their overall experience in the space.
- Help foster a sense of community by supporting member events, lunches, happy hours, and other community activities.
Requirements:
- Strong hospitality mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as reception, hospitality, or administrative support.
- Personable and friendly, with excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanor.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail, able to keep spaces neat and functional at all times.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Eager to learn and grow, with the ability to work with various systems, such as CRM tools and office management software.
- Ambitious and proactive, willing to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
- Familiarity with coworking spaces or a similar environment is an asset but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
