Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Strategy:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the carpentry construction sector.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Proposal Development & Sales:
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, bids, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue goals.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, estimators, and design teams to align business development efforts with project execution.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns targeting key market segments.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and report on business development activities, pipeline metrics, and performance against targets.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in construction or carpentry.
- Strong understanding of the carpentry construction industry, including materials, processes, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- A network of industry contacts is a strong advantage.
